Congrats Aunt Kim!!!

Aunt Kim graduated from Valdosta State University on Dec. 10th!  So we tried to surprise her and just show up, but I have a big mouth and let it slip.  But we still had a fantastic time!  Laken, Addy, and I met Uncle Mitchell and Aunt Elaine at their house and we rode with them.  We had a great trip over there and Addy did great on the 7 hour trip (except for the last 30 minutes).  We met them at Cheddars in Valdosta and Addy just played and played with Aunt Kim and Uncle Chris.  Aunt Kim tried to feed her but I think more ended up on her and the table than in Addy's mouth. Ha ha.  And Addy got so mad at Kim for trying to make her eat the carrots that Addy threw her pap pap under the table so that Kim would get it.  When she went to grab it Addy took Kim's water and dumped it on her head... ha ha ha ha... So thats not exactly how it happened but you get the drift.  That was Friday night.

Saturday was graduation day, so we all got ready and went to the graduation!!! Aunt Kim has worked really hard to finish this degree and we are so proud of her!! She worked really hard to accomplish this goal and even though there were quite a few obstacles in the last few months she finished with a big smile on her face!
We love you Aunt Kim and are so glad you are finished!!!

After the graduation we all piled up and went for a lunch/supper at Texas Road House.  There Addy had another episode with a drink.  They waitress refilling our drinks thought it would be a good idea to sit her extra pitcher on the table, IN FRONT OF ADDY.  So her little curious hands grabbed and thanks to Aunt Elaine's quick hands stopped the tea from going all over Addybugs head!  We got a few drops in her hair, but it was almost a disaster... Needless to say nothing else was sat in front of her that night.  ha ha..  I love little stories like these and hope Addy enjoys reading them when she gets older!

Saturday night we didn't do alot just went shopping a little and then went to get yogurt!

Sunday we had to leave :( and of course I boo
hooed!!!

We hated to leave those two, but we know they will be home for Christmas!!  Love you guys see you soon!

Addy had a small photo shoot while we were in Valdosta!!

I love this picture. I looks like Chris is her security guard. ha ha

6 months!

And we are officially 6 months old as of December 4th!  We have had a great month! Unfortunately it consists of ear aches and doctors visits, but the good far out weighed the bad this month! Even if she was sick.  She never complained.  She has run fever a good bit this month, and I thought it was from teething, but we still don't have  a tooth!  We had a great six month check up and seem to be growing just fine.  We weigh around 16.6lbs. (I can't remember exactly) :(

We are still trying to crawl right now.  And when I mentioned this to Dr. S he didn't quite believe me.  He said it was still a little early for that. :)

We were doing really good on baby food until we got sick.  And since then we turn our head and close our lips! She could careless and is going to take a bottle forever.  Luckily our cousin Saylor is doing the same thing so mom has moral support from Amanda!!! :)

My baby girl is growing so fast.  I can't believe its already been half a year!!! Please time fairy make the clock slow down... I love every minute of being a mom and even though at times I seem to loose my mind (like the other day I got out of my car without putting it in park) I wouldn't trade one minute.  I never thought I would get this much enjoyment out of one little person.  When she grins I just feel my heart smiling with her.

So Addybug when you grow up and read this blog one day.  I hope you know how much you are loved and cared for.  Not just from me and your daddy but everyone!

I love this picture!  This is how much of a big personality she is developing!

Our First Thanksgiving

We had our first Thanksgiving this year... And boy was it busy as usual!

We had it early with Josh's family becuase Josh's brother works in Pennsylvania and would be gone the day of Thanksgiving.

But Thanksgiving day was still full of lots of food and family!
We had a great time at Grandmothers for lunch and even though there was a smaller group there than normal it was still awesome!  Addyson still didnt feel good though so she was rather clingy.  This was the first time that she ever cried for me when I walked by her and as hard as it is stopping and picking her up I must admit it just makes my heart smile knowing she wants and depends on me.

After we left there we went to Nana and Papa's house for a little while and ate some more.  I think I along with everyone else gained a ton of weight!

I love my family so much and enjoy all the time we get to spend with them! I hope Addy enjoys it as much as I always have!  Without our family I don't know where we would be!

I may be a little prejudice, but I think we have the cutest little turkey ever!!

While Nana was trying to decorate her tree Addy decided she didn't like where the ribbon was so she just pulled it off!  I think my tree is in trouble!

"Goy Goy Goy"

Addy has started a noise that she makes with her pap pap.  When you put it in her mouth (and she is in a good mood) she says goy goy goy.. I need to get it on video because it is the cutest thing ever!!

We have had a lot going on the past litte bit.  I will update about Thanksgiving, Our trip to Georgia, Our six month check up, and our first ear ache :(.

Lets start with our first ear ache... It was awful!!! Addy had been pulling at her ear for a while but had no other symptons other than an awful cough (fever nor crying).  But because she had been pulling it for so long we decided to take her in and because of her cough. And of course her left ear was awful! The doctor got so much yucky stuff out of her ear I had to ask if I had cotton a q-tip stuck in there.  And let me tell you, she was not happy at all with the doctor.  She screemed so loud I was almost in tears and had to ask the doctor to wati just a second because I couldn't hear her over the screaming! She was pitiful!  I dropped her blanket while we were leaving the doctors office and didn't realize it until we got to the truck.  So I went back in to get the blanket and she started screaming again... Poor baby didn't want to go back in there.

Sitting up!!

My baby girl started sitting up all by herself in the past two days!!! Wow I didn't realize what a big milestone that was until now!!

Also today my baby girl reached for me!!! It made my day!

The Fair

The South MS Fair is a huge deal for Laurel.  The whole town practically shuts down for the week.  They have great food and that's why Josh and I go.  We enjoy socializing and eating.  This year Aunt Laken and Shells Bells went with us.  Aunt Karla met us there.  And later Memaw and Papaw.

We had a great time as usual.  And Addybug loved the lights.  There was one ride that she starred at for a while.  She, as usual, just hung out and enjoyed looking at everything and everyone.

Next year she gets to ride rides and that will be SO much fun!!! I love the anticipation of all the new and exciting things we get to do now!  Having Addyson is the best thing Josh and I have ever done!

I love this picture of these two!

Our first Car!!

We are only five months old and we have our first car!! And boy is she able to scoot in it already. Josh and I were going to get her the walker for Christmas, but she has one at my moms and Mamaw Barbara's and just loves them.  Therefore we decided to go ahead and get her one now! I am sure we can come up with something else for Santa!! :)  Sorry to make a post just about this car but I got the best picture of her smiling, so I have to post it.

5 months old

My sweet baby girl is on her 5th month!  I know I say this each month but I can't believe it!! Time is just flying by.  She is growing and changing so much.  And the past two weeks it seems she has changed from my sweet baby girl to a big girl.

We finally rolled over from our tummy to our back a couple weeks ago.  And Aunt Laken got to see her!!  She has within the past few days just started sitting up by herself and recognizes and wants to play with Chaser.  She has tried to grab his hair a couple times, but we got it cut off so there isn't much to grab.  We are finally in size 2 diapers and most of the 3 month clothes are getting too small.  3-6 month fits the best but they seem to be hard to find.  We laugh and play all the time.  I love coming home to her and she has the biggest grin when she finally quits playing with her toys to see I am there.

We eat half of a vegetable every night and we have discovered she doesn't like peas.  She did very well with the green beans.  And she seems to like squash and sweet potatoes.  That's the only veggies we have gotten so far.  She is finally understanding the concept that eating from a spoon will fill her tummy just like the bottle does.

This past weekend Addy learned to holler.  And boy does she ever use that to her advantage.  We are in trouble already.  But its so much fun to hear her do it.  She is just growing and learning something new all the time.  Its so much fun to see her develop from day to day.

Love Love Love these two!!!

Her newest favorite thing is to get under the changing pad in the pack n play and lift it with her legs.  I walked in Sunday night after she was suppose to be asleep and watched her lift it and then she would giggle.  It was so sweet. The problem is we have started to fight our sleep terribly!! So that changing pad on her bed gives her one more distraction from going to sleep.  Therefore I see it coming out pretty quick like. Also another thing she has started when she gets sleepy is she scratches whatever she can.  I am not sure if she likes the sound or just the feel of the fabric.

(Since Leah is not keeping up with her blog very well.. I wanted to note that my sweet Hunter man started crawling this past week.  And its absolutely adorable.)

Lady Bug Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween this year!!! Meet our little lady bug.

Addy and Papa

I must say she was the cutest little lady bug ever!! :)   I may be just a little biased.

Sunday night we went to our church's festival and trunk or treat.  We had a good time and there was a ton of people there.

Our Little Family at Trunk or Treat

Then Monday night we went with Danielle, BJ, Leslie, Harley, Hayden, Cambrea, and Hunter to Shelton's festival! And then we went to see Grandmother.  Harley was a cheerleader, Hayden was a football player, and baby Hunter was their football! Danielle always has the best ideas for them!

Hayden, Hunter, Harley, Addy, and Cambrea
Thanks for letting us tag along!
Addy and Grandmother

Needless to say our first halloween was lots of fun. We didn't get much candy because this momma would eat all of it and I don't need it at all!

Meet Jackson!!!

We got to meet Mr. Jackson!!! He was born on Oct. 13th.  He was 7 lbs 4ozs and 19 and 1/2 inches long.  He is so sweet and handsome and I know he will bring lots and lots of joy to Jackolynn, Chris, Emily, and Cynsleigh!  We are so happy for you guys!  We can't wait for Addyson and Jackson to grow up together and be super close cousins!

He smiles all the time!! Isn't that just the cutest!! :)

We are 4 months old!!!

We are now 4 months old!!! And boy has it been a busy busy month.  We were in a beauty pageant, we went to our first USM football game, we went to see Harley cheer and Hayden play football, Uncle B came home, she became a shed head, went to another wedding, .. Wow I am exhausted just thinking about all we did last month.  LOL..

Here is my 4 month picture
I am beginning to like my bouncey seat.
Addy has grown so much over the last few weeks.  She has found her feet, and she loves to play with them.  We moved on to size 2 diapers.  We can still wear some 0-3 outfits, but the 3 month fit the best.  3-6 month outfits are still a little big.  We have a problem finding shoes too.  She is in between newborn shoes and size 2 shoes.  And I can't find any in between.  She is so much more alert now and slobbers all the time.  We are also chewing on just about anything.  Unfortunatly she has started fighting her sleep, so nights aren't always the most peaceful around here.  She also loves to sit in her bumbo seat.  Last month she liked to play on her mat, but the past few weeks she would rather be sitting in her seat.  We love our toys and play with them all the time.  She is still a morning person and once we wake her up she gets the biggest grin when either I or her daddy start talking to her.  It starts my day off right!

This is what we do in the bath tub now. We sit up and chew on the side.

Here is my first beauty pageant.

She is trying to hold her bottle.  She kinda knows what to do, but we have a little way to go.

WARNING WARNING... PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!

Here is a bunch of random pictures from Addy's 4th month.

This is Gran Gran and Addy (Addy's great grandmother)

Here is my Harley girl!! Cheering her brother on in football.

Here is Hayden Ray!!! Love this hyper little boy!

Meet Ms. Preslee Kate!

Uncle B and Addy!!! He came home just to see Addy.. Ha ha

She gets prettier by the second and my love continues to grow that much more for her! She is the mostest awesomest little girl ever!!! :)

Yum Yum Yum

We had our four month check up Friday!!! Where has time gone???

She did fabulous and passed with flying colors!  Dr. S asked if she was trying to start rolling over and I kinda looked at him a little funny and said (as you know if you have read the blog before) "we have been flipping like a fish for a while now!" He was kinda shocked.  His next question was is she showing any interest in toys, and of course the answer to that was also we LOVE our toys and play with them all the time!!! I made the statement she was trying to start sitting up and they were really shocked.  They thought I was crazy until they were examining her and said "wow she is trying to sit up."

She weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs and 12 ozs (70%) she was 25 7/8 inches long (90%) and her poor little head is 16 inches (30%).

We get to start eating from a spoon!!! YAY!!!!  I have been so excited about starting baby food for a while now!  He wanted us to start rice cereal first (whoops we started that in our bottle a couple months ago) and I didn't want to wait till I got home, so we went straight to Target and bought some rice cereal and baby food and then went straight to Nana's and started eating... I think I had way more fun than Addy.  She actually did rather well Friday.  See....

But Saturday we didn't do so well and had it all over me, her, the bumbo seat, and the kitchen counter.  Sunday was a little better, but by Monday we had this down pat.

Its amazing watching her eat.  I take for granted that we know when we eat our belly's get full.  She doesn't understand that yet and I never realized that before she really needs the nutrients from baby food she has to "learn" how to eat.  I love being responsible for teaching her all these new concepts that we all take for granted.  This journey of motherhood is way more awesome than I ever expected!

We didn't do as well with our shots this week. We broke out into a little rash on her face, stomach and back and we were rather fussy Friday night and Saturday.  But by Sunday we were in the best mood and had a great day!

This is my first bite!!! (Besides what papa has snuck in my mouth)

This is day 2 of eating from our spoon!

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch in collins/seminary with Aunt Karla, Bre Bre, and Shells Bells.  We had a good time until the weather warmed up and Addybug got a little to hot.  She got her shots Friday and had a small rash and the sun brought that rash back out and she just didnt feel good from them.  But we got some great pictures!!  Next year she will be old enough to really enjoy the pumpkin patch and play on all the fun toys.

I am so excited about this picture.  Its our goal every year to take a picture by this sign and see how much she has grown from year to year!!!

Me and Addybug!

This is Addy and Bre Bre.  I love love love love this picture.  Notice Addy's smile.
