2 Months

Wow... How time has flown.  Our little girl is two months old already!! She is truly amazing!

At her two month check up she weighed in at 11 lbs 4ozs which is the 60% of her age group, her head measured 15 inches and 40th % and her length was 24 inches which is in the 93rd %.

Over the past few weeks she has grown so much! She has become an avid TV watcher.  I never thought I would have to limit her TV time this early.  She is much more alert and will follow us with her eyes or look when we talk to her.  Also she is beginning to smile at things we do.  Her first time was with Chris.  He made a funny face and noise and she just grinned from ear to ear.  We blow bubbles all the time and our hair has grown a ton more.  Oh and finally she has started rubbing her eyes when she gets sleepy.  Its so cute. 

Daddy calls her a frog when she sleeps. :)

Addy started staying at Aunt Barbara's house on August 8th.  Thanks heavens for Aunt Barbara w/o her I don't know what we would do!! We Love you and Papa G very much!!! Thanks for taking care of our precious little angel.  She has made all kinds of new friends at Aunt Barbara's house.  She stays daily with baby Hunter, she has stayed a couple times with Landon and Nathan, and Harley, Hayden, Kambry, and Haley come in during the afternoons after school.  They all just love on her in the afternoons when I get there. 

Now that school has started back we don't get to see Laken, Nana, and Papa as much anymore. :(  We miss you guys!!

And finally her latest accomplishment is she rolled over all by herself.  She went to work with me Tuesday August 16th and I had her laying on the floor by my chair on her back.  She rolled over to sleep (she sleeps on her side) and her pap pap fell out so she went to  get it and rolled all the way to her tummy.  And I got to see her!!!!! I was quite excited.  I love this little girl more and more everyday!

Atlanta

Last weekend Addy had a weekend full of firsts!!! We had a fun filled weekend in Atlanta, GA.  Josh, Addy and I drove up on Friday.  We took our time since she had never been in a car seat that long.  We left around lunch and got there just in time to find where we were staying (thanks Dwayne!!!) and grab a bite to eat.  Chris, Kim, Travis, Stacey, Landon, and Max got there a little later that night. 

Saturday Daddy went to the PGA tournament for his birthday!  He got to see all the players (except tiger)....


The rest of us headed to the Atlanta Zoo....  We had a great time there!!! Landon was so much fun!

After the zoo Addy rode on her first subway ride and her first Braves game.  She was such a little trooper the whole day!! She never fussed even though she got hot and tired.

At the Pool!!

We adventured to the pool for Addy's first time this weekend.  We met Nana, Papa, Laken, Shelley, Natalie, Gran Gran, Mike, Papaw Jorns, and Aunt June at the coast on Monday night.  And Tuesday Addyson went to the pool for her very first time.

I can't believe my little girl is already 7 1/2 weeks old!! She is growing so fast and has made several strides this week.  We have started tummy time and do a good bit each day.  She loves her new mat and tries to eat the fish. 

 She has found her hands and likes to chew on them a good bit! She got to stay with Nana last week while mommy went to work and again this week on Thursday and Friday.  I don't like it one bit!!! (I cried all day) But I think her and nana love it! My favorite accomplishment of the week was Tuesday night... She held her bottle all by herself. Not sure if that was what she meant to do but she did it very well.
