My Little Billy Goat

This will be quick and to the point because its bath time!!!

My sweet baby girl continues to grow like crazy!  We crawl and pull up anywhere and on everything!  We bump our head like 5,897,980 times a day (and that's just at night when we get home.)  While we are going from one place to the next we are constantly babbling (da da da da), shaking our head no, eating Chaser's food, and eating any kinda paper we can find!!!!  Addy eats much much better now! She loves mac and cheese, chicken and apples, chicken and rice, and bananas.  We try table food every now and then but she still isn't completely excited about it.  We are down to between 15 and 20 ounces of milk a day.  She loves all her toys she got for Christmas.

Other than that things seem to be going pretty smooth around here.  It is tax time for me though. :(  I go from seeing and being with my sweet girl 3 days a week to 1 day a week.  And I miss her like crazy!!!!! 

Josh started back to school last week so its back to just me doing all the chores and that's even harder with it being tax season!! So instead of coming home and getting to play with my sweet baby, I have to come home and cook and clean while she plays on the floor with all her new toys!

Poor Chaser has an infection and therefore he has to wear this e-collar.  He is pitiful.

7 Months

Boy has this month brought on lots of changes.  Since Christmas Addy has thoroughly enjoyed all her many many toys!  So during this 7 months she has become less dependent on me.  I feel like I have more time because I am not constantly giving her my attention.  This saddens me though, because for the last 7 months she has been all my focus!!

But I am also loving this stage.  She is so much fun and starting to develop her own little personality.  I think she will be quite laid back like me, but more organized like her daddy. 

She got two favorite toys for Christmas... and they are both pianos.  This is the piano from Nana. And her other favorite one is a stand up toy from Mamaw Barbara!

This month has brought us our first tooth... We finally got rid of that horrible cough she had for months!! We are pulling up on everything and crawling like she has done it for years!  She is a professional.. he he. We are finally enjoying baby food. She has slept in her bed for a couple of nights. (daddy had to lower her baby bed because she can stand up in it) We took our first long trip to GA. Our first Christmas came and went and our first New Year! 

One of my favorite things she does is sits in the floor and just raises her arms and grins.  Then she will just let our a yelp.  I love watching her do this.  She still stays with Mamaw Barbara (although for a few days while Nana was off for Christmas she stayed with her)

I find her chewing on everything.. Including the oven drawer.

This comb got us through our 7 month pictures.  She was not interested at all in the camera.

Congrats Uncle Joe and Aunt Jess

December brought on another wedding!!!

Aunt Jess and Uncle Joe called Josh either Thursday or Friday of Dec. 15th or 16th... And wanted to come tell us something... We knew what it was just as soon as they said that.  Well they came over and just hung our for a little while and then came the news!!!! They were engaged!!! YAY!  They were headed to get married that next Tues. the 20th.  Well Sunday the 18th they called and decided they would jump into it on Monday!  So we loaded up and headed to Alabama with them!

Congrats you guys! We love you both very much and hope you have many many many happy years together!

Merry Christmas

Even though its a little late.. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!

Addy had a GREAT first Christmas!  We had a very busy day, but enjoyed all the family that we got to see.

We got up Christmas morning and SANTA had come!

This is Nana, Aunt Karla, Addy, and Me!! At moms Christmas afternoon

 After Santa came we went to Nana's and Papas for the morning!  We had our traditional breakfast of tomato gravy and biscuits and chocolate syrup and biscuits! It was delish!!! :)  This is the wagon santa brought to Nana and Papa's house!

Christmas day fell on a Sunday this year so after we left Nana and Papa's we got to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with all our incredible church family!!!

Then if was off to Grandmothers....  I have gone to my grandmothers at lunch every year for my entire life.  This is one tradition that I hope Addy enjoys just as much as I do! Pops and Grammy got to spend a little time with their first grandbaby! :)

We left Grandmothers and went back to Nana and Papa's to see the rest of the fam!  Aunt Karla, Shelley, Gran Gran, Aunt Karen, and the whole gang came over. 

And our final step was to go to Josh's family's house.  We left our house Christmas morning at 8 and didn't get home till 11. As much as we enjoy our families next year we have committed to staying at home more of the day. 

She was exhausted!  I could barely wake her up to see all her gifts!

I had to throw this in there.  I think my husband is kinda cute. :)
