SOCCER....... Part 1

Addy started her first ever soccer practice tonight!  And loved it.  She has been begging to play for about 6 months now....

After practice we got in the car, Addy propped her feet up on my seat and said "whew I'm sweaty, I think soccer made me hot!"  

I am so excited about this season...Even if we will never be home, between soccer and dance. I love this part of life!!

Dance Year 3

We started our third year of dance....  My how time flies.  We still have the most awesome teacher ever!! We love you Mrs. Erica.  Thanks for all you do!

Lewis Lights 2014

Our community has an amazing Christmas light display... This family puts up thousands of strands of lights and they also have several hundred wooden cutouts of different characters, stories, and themes! This is a blessing we enjoy each year.... They are gracious enough to do all this for FREE!!!

Dance!!!!

2015/2015 Was our second season of dance!!  Addy improved tremendously this year, and actually enjoyed it!!!

This year was the first year she did tap and ballet!!  I think she liked tap the most!  

We had the best teachers!  Thanks Mrs. Erica and Mrs. Lora!  You guys rock!

I will always Cherish this Moment

Last night laying in bed with Addy... She reminded me we needed to say our prays (mom fail.)  It went something like this:
                       
                            God is good, God is great, Let us thank him for our food....
                            Thank you God for my Mommy and Daddy, I love them, and 
                            thank you for them, I love them a lots.  They are the best   
                            Mommy and Daddy ever.  And they are awesome.  

This isn't word for word... but it's close...

I have no words to describe my feelings at that moment!

My Dearest Addy,
   
        You melted my heart at that very moment (as you do so often!)  I will cherish this prayer forever.  We wouldn't be "awesome" parents without such an awesome kid! Your my single greatest accomplishment, and I will forever be  your biggest fan!  Please remember when you become a teenager that you did love mom and dad at one point... ha ha!

It's Been a While.....

 It’s been a while since I’ve updated…. And my one reader scolded me… So here’s to catching up and getting back to documenting all my sweet girl does!

My goal is to start with recent photos… and hopefully work my way backwards and forwards at the same time… ha

My sweet girl has grown so much over the past year or so…. It’s amazing how much faster time goes with my little!  I get told all the time how pretty she is, and how her smile can light up a room when she walks in…. I may be a little prejudice but I concur completely when someone tells us that.  She is amazing and I am beyond blessed God chose her for me!  Her teachers at school also tell me she is friends with everyone!  Especially the smaller kids…..  She loves and protects them, and I could not be more proud of her for this!

We got to meet Elsa!!!  This kid was over the moon!!!
