It's Been a While.....

 It’s been a while since I’ve updated…. And my one reader scolded me… So here’s to catching up and getting back to documenting all my sweet girl does!

My goal is to start with recent photos… and hopefully work my way backwards and forwards at the same time… ha

My sweet girl has grown so much over the past year or so…. It’s amazing how much faster time goes with my little!  I get told all the time how pretty she is, and how her smile can light up a room when she walks in…. I may be a little prejudice but I concur completely when someone tells us that.  She is amazing and I am beyond blessed God chose her for me!  Her teachers at school also tell me she is friends with everyone!  Especially the smaller kids…..  She loves and protects them, and I could not be more proud of her for this!

We got to meet Elsa!!!  This kid was over the moon!!!

This picture was from my cousin Jay’s wedding… It was gorgeous and we had a blast!!  (We love you Gran Gran!)

Earrings!!!!

Someone got their ears pierced!!  I was worried to death this was going to be a major ordeal.  Luckily someone told me the local ENT clinic would do this.  So off to the ENT we went.  I have to say this was way more “pleasurable” than I could have ever imagined!!  Dr. Stevens and his office did an amazing job with my little princess!

 

They start off by numbing the ears with a cream.  This was the hardest part of the whole process because we had to keep the cream on the ears (of an active two year old) for 45 minutes in order for it to work. 

They finally called us back after that.. They took time to put a purple dot on her ears and line them up very well.  The doctors and staff were very gentle and patient with Addy.  She flinched just a bit with the first ear… But by the second she was a pro and sat in my lap with no issues!  I’m super excited at how cute they turned out!! And Addy has to tell everyone she got “earwings”

Princess Sofia & Jake and the Neverland Pirates

We took our little princess to see a show with Princess Sofia and Jake and the Neverland Pirates… She had a blast.  This was the first time she really sat and enjoyed a “show.” Seeing the look on her face when the characters came out and how excited she was, was priceless.  God has truly blessed us with an amazing little girl!

  

My pictures didn’t turn out very well because, I couldn’t get Addy to look away from the show long enough!  But the show really was amazing.  The actors and actresses did amazing!  And kept the little ones completely entertained!

Christmas 2013 Part 2

We started a couple of new traditions this year with our little blessing!  And they were so much fun!!!

 

For the reindeer we have to put our reindeer food, carrots, and water….

We set all the food out, and the next morning we saw where the reindeer ate their food, carrots, and they had turned the water red when their nose touched it!!  She loved it!! Such a fun tradition we will continue in the years to come!

 

We left Santa his cookies and milk… AND… our Elf was leaving for the year (thank goodness.. our elf wasn’t very good this year. ha)  You can see how excited she was. She was done for the night and ready for bed.

 

Santa came and brought a bicycle, art easel, and trampoline!!  Along with a ton of clothes and other toys.  She had a blast Christmas morning!!!  Nana, Papa, and Aiken came to see her open Santa gifts Christmas morning.

 

We finished the afternoon off at Grandmother’s for lunch.. and Josh’s family that afternoon.  As I’ve said before we are beyond blessed with the amount of family we have.  They are all amazing and we love them more and more each year.  Jesus is so good to us and we hope to teach Addy the importance of Christmas each year!
