Laurel Fair 2013

October held the annual Laurel Fair!!! This year was Addy’s first year to ride rides… and she had a blast!!!  She wasn’t scared of a single ride and we had a blast watching her… Well I kinda had fun riding with her.  I love being a kid at heart!

 

                                       

 

These two pictures maybe some of my favorite ever of this little girl!  Her expressions are amazing!

She had to ride these two by herself! And did perfectly fine until she got bored…. Then she started to stand up at the end of the ride.  (My heart may have skipped a couple beats)

                                                              

She and I both had a blast!!  She was definitely not ready to leave this year.

Saints Game

Papa Mike is a HUGE dolphins fan, and I have a fabulous client that casually mentioned to me he had Saints season tickets and to let him know if we ever wanted any… So I asked him for the Dolphins vs Saints game in New Orleans!!

Me and Mom met a group from the church and headed down to New Orleans that night!  We stopped to eat on the way down there and had a blast.  Mike was the only one around wearing a Dolphins jersey, but he was a good sport when they lost…. ha ha.  I really enjoy the time I get to spend with my Mom, Mike and Gran Gran… It’s extremely rare!

Saturday Morning Beignets

 

We have discovered a gem in our little city of Ellisville!!  The first Saturday of every month The French Quarter Grill makes beignets.  They are very very very good!! And we love to go!! Addy calls them Donuts, and loves to blow powdered sugar everywhere and create a really huge mess!! But the staff are always fabulous and don’t fuss too much at us. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Little Cowgirl

Little Miss Priss…. has become obsessed with horses.  Over the past summer she would want to see the horses, but not get any closer.  Then a couple days before halloween she told Josh “I wanna ride.”  We told her no… but Uncle Joe saddled Margaret up anyway.  She rode and rode and rode… Until we had to make her get off! She loved it, and asks to ride almost everyday.

 

 

The next week we rode over there and she fed the horses, watered them, and finally learned how to “rope” a cow.  Its the best watching her expressions and seeing how excited she gets!! 

 

 

 

 

  This last picture… We were at Academy Sports shopping one night… She picks up the hat and says… “Mommy Mommy… I wanna ride horse at Uncle Joe and Aunt Jess… Yee Haw Yee Haw”… In the middle of the whole store. And i hear people cracking up all around us.  I may be a little partial, but i think she is the cutest kid ever and has the best personality!  She is hilarious!  And doesn’t forget anything!!!
