Not Just Anyone Can Say They Got to Hold an Angel

Before I catch up on our crazy busy life with Addy I have a very very special person that needs an introduction.

Her name is Aralei Marie Nelson. She was born on Sunday April 14, 2013 at 6:31 p.m. She's 11 inches long and 1lb and 10ozs of pure spunk and perfection! This little girl belongs to my amazing little brother and his wonderful fiance Ariale.

This sweet little girl is very very special! She fought harder than any person I have ever met! And she changed my life in her short 3 days of life on earth. She met Jesus and was scooped into his arms on Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 11:56 p.m. Knowing she is much better off than her family she left on earth and that we have an AMAZING guardian angel watching over us, is the only thing that makes this loss bearable.

Not only did she change my life in her short 3 days, but I have to say how amazing my little brother was in those days. I was so excited to watch my little brother become the Dad I know he will be one day to another little angel here on Earth. My little brother has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met and all I can do is pray that God will heal his broken heart.

To my brother and future sister... I love you guys!! You guys did an amazing job taking care of that sweet baby girl! My heart breaks for you guys.

To my sweet niece Aralei... God had big plans for you! I wish I knew what they were and could understand, but until the day we meet again pretty girl, please watch over us and guide us in the direction God intends for us to travel. We miss you sweet girl and will always love you. Please watch over your Mom and Dad and Grandparents and help them heal their broken hearts. You are the most beautiful Angel ever and I am privileged to be able to call you my niece. Thanks for that honor sweet girl. I will Love you always and forever!

Happy New Year

For the New Year we loaded up and headed to Ha'Hira, GA to visit Chris and Kim!! The moment we got there Addy headed straigt for Mae (the cat) and her second hello was given to Max. Chris and Kim came last on that list. ha ha
Before we left to come home.. We took a small rode trip to Jacksonville to see Josh's MSU team play in their bowl game. The weather was absolutely perfect along with my sweet girl!!! She did so good during the game and LOVED watching the bands play! Unfortunatly, MSU didn't really show up to play.. So the game was kinda bad... But we still had a really good time!
2012 was an incredible year!!! I hope 2013 is just as good!!

Christmas 2012

We had a fantastic Christmas this year as always!!! And this year wasn't nearly busy as last year was Christmas Day. We could actually enjoy it just a little. Santa came and was (what I thought) very very generous to our spoiled little girl (later I found out ,surprisingly, Josh thought I should have done more.) :) Never thought that would have ever come out of his mouth!! But she got the cutest kitchen set ever.. Along with her Pottery Barn Anytime chair. With lots of clothes, shoes, accessories for the kitchen, and some melissa and doug toys! Addy didn't quite understand who Santa was, nor was she very fond of him in person, but she sure did (and has) enjoyed her kitchen set!! I got an awesome new camera!!
Our first stop was in Sandersville for Josh's Mamaw and Papaw. We enjoyed breakfast with most of their family that morning.
We left Josh's grandparents house and headed to my Grandmother's. I have been to my Grandmother's house every Christmas Day since I remember. We always play dirty santa and eat lunch. To be such a big group we really all get along SO well!
Our last stop of the day was my moms house!! Where I got a Keurig!! I was extremely excited!!

Moving on Up

We have moved to another new class at school!! Addy has moved to the lower 2 year old class. This was really hard on us me this time!! Addy had just become completely attached to Mrs. Evelyn and we me hated to leave her and Mrs. Whitney!! But on the first day she did fantastic! Addy walked right in and never looked back at me. Kinda sad for me. :( The only problem she is having is not sitting still at the table. (never would have guessed that. ha ha.. Insert sarcasm text) We have been busy as usual the last couple of weeks. We had a fantastic Thanksgiving and once it was over Josh, Addy, and I packed up and headed north to Mentone, AL. My boss has an incredible place up there he allows us to use and we are so very grateful!!! While in Mentone we drove over to Chattanooga and went to Rock City and rode a train to the North Pole!! This was our first chance to see Santa this year. And most likely our last encounter for the year. She wasn't too thrilled to see him. Hopefully that will change pretty quick! It was a quick and busy trip. We thought because we had been on the go so much Addy was just ill from being tired. Turns out she ended up having the "hand foot and mouth" disease. We didn't have a bad case, but it still made for one grouchy little girl!
In front of seven states!!
About to cross the swinging bridge!
She screamed anytime he looked at her. :(
