The Fair and Halloween

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. :(. And the holidays are coming up so it will probably get worse. Its just really hard getting on the computer when I have a toddler who thinks its hers and that she deserves my full attention. But I wouldn't have it any other way. She is so much fun right now! Everyone that says it just keeps getting better as they get older is completely true! Life isn't easy with an active little toddler and my house isn't clean, but she is worth all the laughs and giggles and messes!! We had the fair in Laurel a couple weeks ago. Addy wasn't quite tall enough to ride any rides, but she got a purple ball and was satisfied for the entire night!!

Next we had halloween!! My little girl was an angel (which completetly describes her personality. ha ha) She was the prettiest angel on the planet!! We went to zoo boo the Sunday before Halloween and Addy wasn't impressed! It is for older kids, Addy got her one sucker and was done! Halloween night we went to JCJC for treats in the streets and met up with Mamaw Barbara, Danielle, BJ and their crew. She has more fun there just roaming around. Finally we came home to our street and saw the best neighbors in the world!!

Pageant Princess

My precious baby girl was in her second pageant. I just knew she was going to be shy and I was going to have to walk her across stage. In fact she was completely opposite. She strutted across the stage and waved the whole time. She did absolutely perfect. I was one proud mom!!! We won 1st alternate!

New Addition

We have a new addition to our family. She was born August 24th and is just beautiful!!! Her name is Hanna Brook!!! I love this little family and am so thankful they take us in as their own!! Congrats Danielle, Bj, Harley, Hayden, and Hunter!!!!

The Color Dash

Labor day weekend Josh, Addy, Laken, and I loaded up and headed to Birmingham to meet Chris and Kim! We had a great weekend. We did a little shopping and lots of eating. We ate at the cheesecake factory and dreamland BBQ!! They were both delicious. Even Josh said dreamland was good. (he never likes any food!!). We also took a little adventure Sunday and hiked to falling rock falls. It was absolutely gorgeous!

Then Monday we ran the color dash!! It was the most fun 5k I have ever ran. There were thousands and thousands of people and it was pouring down rain!! When I say pouring I mean thunder and lighting and FLOODING!! We were soaked! But will definitely go back next year!
